The growing incidence of diabetes within Native American communities prompts the development of prevention programs on the Kickapoo and Potawatomi Reservations in Kansas. Guests include Steve Cadue of the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas; Melinda Williamson, diabetes program manager for the Prairie Band Potawatomi tribe; and Renee Johnson, a nurse practitioner specializing in diabetes care & prevention.
