After just two days of deliberation, a federal jury convicted Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow of 162 counts, including racketeering, corruption and murder. Gov. Jerry Brown released a new state budget this week. It's estimated that 22 percent of Americans have offered some kind of goods or services in the so-called gig economy.
