State Veterinarian Dr. Douglas Meckes talks about preparations officials are making for a possible influx of Avian flu. Researchers have completed an extensive project to map the NC coastline. And the NC Arboretum is working with the National Climate Data Center to help make Asheville the Center of Climate Data.
