The story of the Women's March of 1921. Thousands of women marched on the coal mines of Crawford Co., Kansas in support of striking miners. Called "an Army of Amazons" by the New York Times, the women of SE Kansas were protesting the unfair treatment of miners and their families, who were mostly immigrants. Guests.
