We visit with some folks who experienced the Dust Bowl and learn how they coped with the conditions; as the Ogallala Aquifer in western Kansas continues to decline, a new approach to groundwater management being implemented near Colby may be able to slow the decline; and we follow Shawnee County Extension Agent Jamie Hancock who talks about a low-water gardening technique called xeriscaping.
